French luxury group Chanel has roped in Leena Nair as its new global chief executive, joining the league of Indian leaders at the helm of global consumer products firms.
Nair is Unilever 1nSE-0.59%|'s chief human resource officer and a member of the company's Leadership Executive (ULE). She will join the French luxury firm in January and will be based in
London.
