Global Leader Approval Ratings: India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi emerged as the world’s most popular leader beating global leaders like United States President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
In the latest survey ‘Global leader approval ratings’ conducted by Morning Consult – a global decision intelligence company delivering insights and custom market research on what people think in real-time – PM Modi ranked number one with an approval rating of 76% while Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador stood at the second position with 61% approval rating and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese grabbed the third spot with 55% global leader approval rating, respectively.

“The latest approval ratings are based on data collected from March 22-28, 2023. Approval ratings are based on a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each country, with sample sizes varying by country,” the Morning Consult Political Intelligence said.
“Morning Consult Political Intelligence is currently tracking the approval ratings of government leaders and country trajectories in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States,” said the company said.
