India accounted for 12 percent of the world’s Web 3 developers in 2023, a significant increase from just 3 percent in 2018. The country is home to over 1,000 Web3 startups, making it one of the largest ecosystems in the world, said a report released by early stage web 3 venture capital firm Hashed Emergent on April 9.
This comes at a time when that has been a sharp decline of around 80 percent in Web 3 funding
