Indian enterprises world leaders in bot deployments: Report

Bot deployments in Indian enterprises are the highest in the world, with 67% of the companies already having deployed over 300 bots across their enterprise organisation (compared to 21% worldwide), suggests a report ‘Automation Now & Next’.

The report claims automation budgets are increasing in India with more than three-fourths (93%) of the organisations planning to expand their budgets in the next 12 months. Two-thirds are boosting automation funding by 25% or more.

“Automation has become a strategic priority for business leaders across India as a fallout of the pandemic. But it has also become core to digital transformation efforts,” said Milan Sheth, executive vice-president of the IMEA Region for Automation Anywhere. “The report validates cost savings, business continuity, and delivering great customer experiences amid ongoing disruptions to be the top drivers for Indian companies adopting automation.”

Further, according to the report, nine out of 10 enterprises globally are migrating their automation to the cloud.
