NEW DELHI: The CoWin platform, the technology backbone of the country’s Covid vaccination drive, has become the fastest tech interface in the world to amass over 200 million registrations in four months, and then reaching 300 million a month thereafter, NHA CEO R S Sharma has said.
The NHA chief said the app’s durability is allowing end-to-end traceability of vaccinations and also facilitating feedback. "What adds more credibility to this achievement is the stability of the system, which is entertaining over a billion HTTP requests on an average daily,” Sharma said while addressing the CoWin Global conclave.
“It has helped efficient vaccination utilisation and decentralised governance and management... CoWin provides a transparent system that enables end-to-end traceability of vaccines," Sharma said.
