Covid impact? Companies in India launch record number of FMCG products in Apr-Sept


Kolkata/Mumbai: Over 53 new consumer products have hit the market every day on an average since Covid hit the country, signaling an increased focus on innovation especially in the health and hygiene space followed by packaged food to cash on the heightened consumer awareness and demand for such products due to the pandemic fear. As many as 9,700 products and variants entered the Indian FMCG market between April and September.
