In an interview with Craig Allen discussed was the scale of US economic involvement in China and the impact of the recent hostilities on the business sector. Craig shared with us some of the US-China Business Council recommendations to President Biden, as well as his view of the biggest systemic barriers for American businesses in China. On the political front, we asked Craig about the impact of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) on global supply chains and Americans trade interests in Asia, as well as the possibility of a joint, transatlantic front in business dealings with China.
